     At Commonwealth Edison Company, Industrial Safety and Health 
     personnel report to plant management. Corporate S & H personnel have 
     the primary role of establishing company safety rules and policies.  
     In addition, corporate provides supports to the plant with 
     implementation and consistency of safety rules and policies.

I am conducting a little non-scientific survey of nuclear power 
generating facilities.  If you don't work in such a facility or are not 
affiliated with such a facility, you need not read further.  I need to 
know how the chain of command works for personnel responsible for 
industrial safety and health (as opposed to health physics) in nuclear 
power plants.  Specifically, do S & H personnel report to plant mgt. or 
corporate mgt..  Also, what is the role of corporate S & H personnel.
