ALARA Evaluations

We are making some changes to our RadCon program here at the INEL to
reflect the emphasis in 10 CFR 835 on minimizing TEDE during the ALARA
process. We have been asked to do an ALARA evaluation on these changes,
which evaluates the social, technical, economic, practical and public
issues associated with making these changes to the procedures that
support the Rad Con Program. The changes are intended to be more
permissive about internal exposures if, in so doing, the TEDE is
reduced. The technical and economic issues are easily determined, but
have any of you had experience with the social, practical and public
aspects of such an evaluation? We would appreciated the benefit of your
wisdom and experiences!!!!

Thanks in advance!! Have a nice day!!!
