Re: F-18 production

To All,

This appears to be the method of F-18 production that
our staff used at AFRRI using the TRIGA Mark V reactor
sample irradiation system.

The personnel who had direct experience in designing the
process were then Major George Dunsen (sp.?) and then
Captain Bob Eng (both Army radiation specialists, and
both radiopharmaceutical chemists by training at the Ph.D.
level, I believe). The AFRRI TRIGA staff may have
retained some information. The current issue of the HP
Journal contains a section by Bruce Busby listing
radiobiology related Web sites and AFRRI is on that list.
Perhaps a search on their Web site can produce specific
findings!

Good Luck,

MikeG.
