Tritium exit sign disposal

A gentleman called me recently to obtain information on how to dispose of
something he had in his shed for many, many years. He will be moving soon,
and wanted some information on how to go about getting rid of an "exit" sign
given to him many years back, that, as it turns out, contains 3.3 Curies of
tritium.  It was given to him by a friend years ago who worked on the Lockeed
Electra.  At the time, it was a novelty.
Now it is a problem.

The manufacturer has been identified as Isolite.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to who might take this sign and how to
contact them?
