Hey Chris:

A couple of thoughts, neither of which really answers your question. 
Is it possible to put some of this equipment up on legs/blocks to increaset
airflow underneath (I'm assuming this equipment is flat on the
worksurface or has very short legs)?

Can the equipment be moved a little further back into the hood without
blocking the baffle slots?
