         Closure of FEMA's National Instrumentation Center

FEMA is closing its radiological instrumentation test and evaluation laboratory 
located at the Mount Weather Emergency Assistance Center near Berryville, 
Virginia.  As a result, some instrument calibration equipment will become 
available.  These include:

       1 each J.L. Shepherd Model 333 Free Air Collimated Calibrator; 
Approximately 900 curies of Cesium-137; Value - $200,000

       15 each Box Calibrators, CDV-794 Model 2, manufactured by Technical 
Operations, Inc.; Approximately 100 curies of Cesium-137; Value - $150,000

       1 each AN/UDM-1A Free Air Collimated Calibrator, manufactured by 
NEMS-Clark; Approximately 50 curies of Cesium-137; Value - $25,000


Each item is in first class condition.  The box calibrators can be used for both
dosimeters and survey meters.
