Skyshine -Reply

Noel,
NCRP 51 (1977) Ch. 4 has information and calculations on skyshine for
0.1 to 100 MeV accelerator facilities. Also, in Dr. Hertel's class at GA
Tech we used Chilton's Principles of Radiation Shielding which explains
related mechanisms. I've measured it often at our larger LINACs and
noted the dependance on weather conditions. Give me a call - you have
my number.

Can anyone supply me with basic information about skyshine?

I have measured it, but I need information about the mechnism and any

calculational and measurement advice you can give.

     References would be great.

     Thanks
