November Meeting of the Baltimore-Washington Chapter, HPS

The Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the HPS is meeting on Wednesday
November 13 at the NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt,
Maryland.

The speaker is Dr. Epaminondas Stassinopoulos, Head of the Radiation
Physics Office, Earth Science DIrectorate.  He will be talking on the
Space Radiation Environment and its Effects (on equipment and humans).

There will be a technical tour of the NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center
before the meeting, including a full size mock-up of the space shuttle
and the world's largest clean room.

We will be serving barbequed steak and shrimp, with beverages, for $15
for chapter members and $20 for non-members.

The tour starts at 5:00pm, the social hour/dinner at 6:00pm, and the
