ICRU Report 10b, "Physical Aspects of Irradiation" (NBS Handbook 85) 1964, has 
information on properties of various alpha-n and gamma-n sources, including 
neutron spectra.

I have been looking for a reference that is clear about the neutron and
gamma energies and yields from a Am241/Be9 (AmBe) neutron source.  I have
not been sucessful.  Most of the references I have reviewed deal only in the
most general terms and only provide specifics concerning alpha and gamma
specifically from Am241.
