Build-up Caps for Survey Meters

Caveat emptor. Most manufacturers, whose literature I've seen, recommend the
use of the (removable) build-up caps on their ion-chambered meters, where the
E's of interest are greater than 200-300 keV (the manufacturer of one widely
used meter suggests: " Use the equilibrium cap if the effective energy of the
source is over 100 keV."). Note that the response curve of an instrument can
be strongly dependent on the cap.
