Mr. Miller,
I would suggest that you start with a look at the appropriate Series 10
Nuclear Regulatory Commission Regulatory Guide on the licensing
requirements - there is one for each type of license you can request. Then
I would check to see what kind of training might be available on licenses
from the NRC training center in Chattanooga TN or your local state
radiation protection bureau. I also know that the Department of Defense
organizations have RSO training course that they hold regularly (monthly -
when I was in with the Navy). That might also be a option for your
organization depending on what you are looking for.
There are of course lots of good courses through ORISE (423-576-3131), and
other training providers suchs as Technical Managment Services
(203-738-2440), or Consultec Scientific (423-675-4333). I don't know how
good any of these is - since I haven't been to any of them - but they are
sources to get you started on your search. Good Luck.
