Re: Dose to fog camera film

Intraoral dental radiographic film, which is direct exposure (i.e.,
non-screen) film, requires a dose of about 200 mrad to give an optical
density of about 1.0. Photographic film, whose spectral sensitivity
should be optimized to visible light rather than diagnostic-energy x
ray, might be a little less sensitive to ionizing radiation.
