Airplane crash
About 30 years ago, I heard a story from a guy who said he flew chase for
the reactor test plane. He described an incident when there was
apparently a coolant leak. A large collar of ice formed over the outside
midsection. They decided to desend to warm air and let it melt and break
loose. Said they looked and looked , but could never find where the ice
landed.
