Re: RSO change
If you are under the NRC, 10CFR35.14 gives you 30 days to notify them
if the RSO leaves.
I too was interim RSO for 2 years before becoming full time. NRC
didn't object to this. We amended our licenses so the interim RSOs
(there were two of us) were named. As far as they were concerned we
were responsible RSOs and the radiation safety program continued as
before.
