Re: RSO book

Donna,

A series of Handbook which you would find applicable and very good are:

"Radiation Protection Handbook for Laboratory Workers", by Conners and
McLintock,
"Phosphorus-32: Practical Radiation Protection" by Ballance, Day and Morgan
"Tritium:Radiation Protection in the Laboratory" by Ballance, Richards and
Thomas.

These are produced for the UK Association of University Radiation Protection
Officers by H&H Scientific Consultants Ltd, P.O. Box MT27, Leeds LS17 8QP,
UK tel: 011-44-532-687189

While these are geared to a UK audience, the basics of radiation protection and
good handling techniques are there.

Hello, I work at a biotech company which uses small amounts of radioisotopes
and I
would like to purchase a book to use as a reference in dealing with
radiation safety issues.

What book would you recommend?

Thanks.

Donna
