Radiation Protection: A Guide for Scientists and Physicians - Shapiro, Jacob
 (Cambridge Harvard University Press

 Introduction to Health Physics - Cember , Herman
 McGraw Hill NY

================

Seems to me that you need only a very simple introduction text, according
with your job and practice. Please I am sure that the book "An Introduction
to Radiation Protection" third edition, Alan Martin and Samuel A. Arbison,
will be more appropriate.
