Re: Documentation of training for ancillary personnel

Radsafers,

I have to agree with Kent, that is, it is not usual
to keep detailed records such as "tests" for Part 19
training given to ancillary personnel.

I did keep some records (in my past life as a medical
institution RSO): An attendance list signed by each
person and a copy of the presentation package.

As usual, I focused Part 19 training to be proportionate
(and very specific) to the hazards likely to be encountered.
An example being the dreaded unattended radmaterial
package (and how to recognize the label) for custodial
and security staff.

My opinion and experience,

S.,
