YOU note with interest that the top RSO is neither a CHP nor a member 
of the HPS!......What difference does that make???  You're 
insinuating possible incompetence on that person's part just because 
he's not affiliated with some group, or hasn't been certified by that 
same group?

There are certainly many, many competent, experienced, skilled, well educated, 
etc., individuals serving as RSOs and in other important capacities 
in the radiation protection field who are not CHP's nor members of 
the HPS, myself included.

Your elitist attitude is offensive.  Adding letters to the end of 
one's name or being affiliated with some group does not make one 
better, faster, stonger, nor smarter than the next guy.  I've run 
across a few CHP's who couldn't use a survey meter correctly if their 
life depended on it!
