Rober Holloway asked whether the Health Physics Society would 

consider giving the HP Certification exam in Poland.  I would 

like to point out that this is not an issue to be addressed 

by the Health Physics Society.  The Certification exam is 

administered by the American Board of Health Physics 

(ABHP) which is an entirely separate legal entity.  Policies 

of the ABHP are subject to review by the American Academy of 

Health Physics whose membership consists of the Certified 

Health Physicists.  

The ABHP has recently been considering whether or not the 

exam might be offered at sites outside the US.  This does 

present a logistical problem since there is a requirement 

that the exam be proctored by a certified HP.
