This apears to be the result of someone posting to RADSAFE with their e-mail
program set to automatically request read receipts from recipients. Some email
programs will respond and some won't, hence the "Read:..." messages sent back
automatically to the address from which the request came. In this case, that
address is the RADSAFE listserver and we all get notified that a particular
indivudual read his or her e-mail.
