Although the launch of Cassini was successful, the protestors are now
working on Congress to prevent NASA from ever again using RTG power
supplies. These are truly safe and well designed to preclude plutonium
releases during launch accidents. Please take time to write to your U.S.
Representative and Senators about NASA's use of Pu-238 RTG's in space
missions. The protestors are writing!

In your letter you can note that "health physicists are specialists in
radiation safety who are safeguarding human health and the environment
while enabling uses of radiation".
