re: Cloud Chamber Th contamination

Brian Rees gave instructions on building a cloud chamber and using a 
mantle as the source. Did some one on radsafe, or did I read it 
elsewhere, say that in making a chamber with a mantle and ethyl 
alcohol, the student putting the thing together had contaminated his 
hands. If that is true, care needs to be taken. Did anyone recall that 
story or is memory playing tricks on me. The alcohol dissolve the Th 
and caused the contamination.
