PNNL External Dosimetrist Position



The following is posted to RADSAFE at the request of Mark Hevland,

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's Radiation Protection Services is
seeking interested candidates for a full time position within its
Dosimetry Services Project.  The specific position is for an external
dosimeterist, preferably with Harshaw systems experience.  Minimum
requirements for this position are a BS degree in Radiation
Protection/Health Physics or a related field and five years of direct
dosimetry experience.  

Radiation Protection Services provides all dosimetry-related technical
and processing support for the Department of Energy's Hanford Nuclear
Reservation.  The Hanford Site offers a wide and varied set of dosimetry
challenges that span the entire fuel cycle.     Currently RPS processes
over 80,000 dosimeters annually encompassing; beta-photon, neutron,
criticality, extremity, area and environmental dosimeters.  The Hanford
Site is located in the southeastern corner of Washington State along the
Columbia River.
