Re: Signs, Signs, Everywhere the Signs -Reply

I believe that Brad Mitchell of TVA, is referring to postings
other than those depicting caution and warning as to the
radiological hazards of the RRA (RCA). If I am picking up
the intent of his RADSAFE posting correctly, he is
referering to bulletins or memos discussing radiological
events at his facililty being posted at the entrance to the
RRA. With that said, at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant,
Radiological Awareness Bulletins are posted in strategic
areas throughout the facility; however, they are not posted
directly on walls, doors, or entrance ways. Clipboards are
mounted on a wall or attached to an easel. These
clipboards have top loading rings that the bulletins are
inserted over. The bulletins discuss anything of a
radiological issue or event to further heighten the
awareness of the radiation worker. Typically, the bulletin
will start out with the procedural expectation, then
develop into what happened. The bulletins are printed on
a conspicuously coloered paper (i.e., a mutant color of
magenta and yellow).
