Sam,

B&W fabricated MOX fuel back in the late 60's and early 70's.  I know they
made MOX fuel for the FFTF.  B&W has a research facility in Lynchburg, VA,
where I worked until 1986.  At that time, it was called the Lynchburg
Research Center.  I don't what it is called now. The facilty has several hot
cells for examing spent fuel.  I believe some spent MOX fuel exams were done
while I was there, but I'm not sure.  Sorry, but I don't have a current phone
number.  If you reach someone at the center, ask for Hot Cell Operations, and
they should be able to help you.
