     But it would help prevent dehydration from diarrhea induced by an
     acute exposure.  Or for washing contamination (or anything else) off
     your contact lenses. :-)  It'll pass for buffered saline.

     Don't you just love these New Age mysto-squeezo claims?  Better than
     the Three Stooges(C)!

See Linda Clark's "Are You Radioactive?" (1973).  She  says that ".. buckwheat
seeds and millet are considered radiation preventative .. " but even more
important is her formula for fallout protection, which is said to be effective
against leukemia: "1 teaspoon of whole natural sea salt (Chico-San brand), 1
teaspoon of baking soda, 1 quart of water."  The medical folk at Georgetown do
not agree, but what do they know?
