Hi RadSafers:

I remember a PBS Nova special which I believe was entitled "Return to Chernobyl"  where the personnel who inspected the stricken reactor's internals believed that imbibing large quantities of Vodka after exiting the reactor provided a radioprotective effect!  Unfortunately, I don't think they were able to back up their claims with a case controled study! (Pun intended)  %^)
