In response to a valid question, that has been raised on Radsafe
previously, as well as other professional listservers, I say no, for
the following reasons:

1. We are a group with varied expertise and opinions.
2. There is not always a fine distinction between "purely" technical
versus "social". Each one facilitates a better understanding of
an issue. They stand "not" alone. They are symbiotic.
3. With a single source of messages we are all "exposed" to a variety
of information, opinions and ideas. THIS is GOOD.
4. If one isn't interested in a particular subject, they don't need
    to read the message.
5. Melissa does an awful lot to manage the best overall listserver
that I am familiar with. WHY increase the necessary "mothering"?
6. Radsafe grows since it meets a need of the nuclear community.
    Don't mess with success.
