Re: Request suggestions in handling Ra-226 contaminated soil

I would like to clarify my previous posting about Ra-226 contaminated
soil. Disposal and licensing issues are being taken care of and I do not
see any problem. I am requesting suggestions from experienced people in
the area of radiation safety for this type of soil. We had other
transuranic contaminated soil projects but not radium before. I personnaly
don't
think it would be a big deal and I have some ideas and direction which I
would like to go. I just wanted to make sure that I cover all areas to
provide a good working environment in this project. There were a
number of times I read good ideas from other Radsafers that I could never
dreamed of them on my own. Thank you. M. Jo
