Adenocarcinoma

I am looking for information about the cause of Adenocarcinoma.  Tumors
which begin initially outside of the lungs.  I am also exploring the
possibility of this form of cancer being related to exposures from
radiation.  I have a friend who was suddenly diagnosed with this form of
cancer and exploring possible causes.  The individual is 41 years old and
had worked as a radiation worker on submarines.  I am not aware of the two
being related, but I have seen very little information on this form of
cancer.  Someone out there may have much more information and a better
understanding.

Your assistance in exploring the cause is greatly appreciated.  Please
