Call for Papers/Presentations

The 17th Annual Panasonic International Dosimetry Symposium will be held
June 7-12, 1998, at the Sonoma County Hilton Hotel in Santa Rosa,
California.  The theme for this symposium will be "Advancing Dosimetry
Toward the 21st Century".  The symposium will be composed of Technical
Sessions, Breakout Discussion Groups and Earlybird seminars, all intended
to advance the knowledge and understanding of the participants about TLD
Dosimetry and the operation of dosimetry programs.

The purpose of this announcement is to solicit papers or presentations for
the Symposium.  The following topic areas have been selected for particular
focus at this Symposium, but any presentation/paper on a subject related to
TLD dosimetry will be considered for the agenda. Poster presentations will
also be considered.

     Impact of the Year 2000 on dosimetry software
     TLD operations/experience in the International Community
     QA manuals for Dosimetry Operations
     Technical Basis Documents for Dosimeters
     NVLAP/DOELAP Experiences and Updates
     Management of TLD Populations
     Impact/Experiences of Downsizing, Rightsizing, or Improving
Operational Efficiencies
     Reader Matching
     Algorithm Development
     Preventative Maintenance, User Maintenance
     Software ? Processing and Information Management System
     Calibration of Irradiation Sources
     QA/QC Statistical Process Controls
     Research and Development ? Innovations
     Neutron Dosimetry

Please submit abstracts by April 15, 1998.  Completed Papers will be needed
by May 15 to be included in the Proceedings.  Your participation will help
to make this a successful symposium.  Abstracts or papers may be submitted
electronically or in hardcopy form. Abstracts should be submitted to:
