Re: Technician Crosstrain



Been there, done that. Ultimate result, techs trained across too many 
disciplines, result in equally less expertise in all of them. 
While cross training is a fact of life, and, is a good thing when 
implemented effectively, the net result if you try to tackle too many 
competing types of disciplines is that the individual loses some of 
the knowledge gained in a few well-maintained  disciplines. Spreading 
the workforce on all areas waters down the competency in the long 
run, and that is when problems arsise.
