Harshaw TLD info

Radsafers,

Can someone point me to some guidelines on response of TLD 100 vs 700 vs
600. Suppose you have a big pile of mixed up TLD chips, and you want to
segregate them. Getting the 600s out is easy, they show a whopping
response to neutrons. Now, how do I separate the 100 from the 700? They
seem to be indistinguishable from each other when exposed to AmBe neutrons.
Do I need to shield all the gamma from my AmBe source to see the
distinction? (Yes, I'm using a phantom)

And because I can't keep my opinion to myself.....
FWIW my 'vote' is that we identify ourselves on this list. It seems to
me that if you can't ID yourself, you ought not be doing it. This isn't a
dating service or a chat room for alien abductees. Threatening phone
calls, really?? I'm amazed at the number of people who indicated they have
been threatened. What are you guys saying to elicit such responses? I
feel left out - no one's ever taken the energy to get that mad at me -
that's not a request :)

Thanks in advance for the help.
