The answer to this question is no.  While radioactivation of body sodium by
photoneutrons can occur, its magnitude in teletherapy normally is
inconsequential.  And your question certainly is not out to lunch.
Consideration of all possible health consequences from applications of
radiation is important to any good professional practice.  And it's the stuff
that often gets addressed over lunch, anyway.
