RE: Static eliminator in copy machines

You are correct, Tom. I was referring to the usual office-sized machines.
Po-210 is the static eliminator of choice for very many applications.
Does anyone know who supplies P0-210 static eliminators other than NRD in
Grand Island, NY? I believe that 3M discontinued their line.

Joe, I contolled a print shop where the very large copiers used Po-210
strips made to create an ionization zone around the paper as it came off
the roll to prevent it from sticking - static charge.

The activity of the sources was around 96 mCi.

Improperly sealed photocopiers have a distinct smell of ozone.
