Q. Can anyone point me towards the specific regulation(s) regarding
wearing Lab coats in areas where radioactive materials are used/stored?

A.  If you state in your license that you will follow Appendix I of Reg
Guide 10.8, then you have a specific regulation as the rule for wearing
lab coats is stated there.  Even if you do not directly state it in your
license, it can be argued that this is what the NRC wants and will look
for.
