Thanks to Dr Knowles for stirring my memory. Art Robert's son was in my
high school class back in the 50's. I remember our chorus singing a song
he wrote based on the musical notes AEC.

As for obscure references, there was a popular song in the 60's sung by
Ed Ames that refered to a 'mushroom cloud'.
