Circumventing dose documentation

The above is not as prevalent as it used to be. USA power reactors
are becoming more proactive in maintaining doses at low levels.
You don't see the high exposures as was often the case in the
'80s. The incentives to "lose" dose isn't as much an issue has has
been the case. Systems are also more sophisticated. Rad
protection and other work groups are more cognizant, observing
when dosimetry is not worn. Real-Time Access Control Stations
are used throughout the industry, where TLDs are scanned in at
many check-off points. This is not to say that one can't circumvent
the system. But with many of the controls in place, a worker's flow
throughout the RCA, RAB and other areas within the controlled
areas, can be determined, and documented.
