Dear Dr. Schoenhoffer:

I do not know that I can provide you with any literature on this matter.
However, my personal experience is that I have not detected contamination
from sources up to 150 mCi that were 10 years old or older (smear wipes
counted in a liquid scintillation counter).  I may have been lucky, however.
