NIST beta cal



I've been corrected.
Calibrating a source for 2Pi beta emission is now a 'standard' service.
See www.nist.gov.
I will let you decide if it is 'cheap'.  It all depends on your needs.
And to clarify, beta standards available as SRMs certified for activity
content are liquid (in sealed vials to state the obvious), not solids.
