 ANSI N323, Radiation Protection InstrumentationTest and Calibration
can provide you with the information you are looking for.
 A revision is on the street for the first volume that
addresses portable instruments. The subsequent volumes address
stationaries, low level instruments and air monitors. Like all ANSI
standards, N323 is a voluntary consensus standard. It is only binding when
adopted by your facilities operating license, tech specs or operation
procedures.
