Independent Audit

Colorado State University (CSU) is looking for an individual to perform
an independent audit on the Radiation Safety Program. CSU would like to
have an individual that is experienced in veterinary applications as
well as irradiators and dispersible material. CSU has ~1400 individuals
working in ~ 120 labs throughout the State of Colorado. The majority of
the labs are located at the main campus in Fort Collins Colorado, ~50
miles N of Denver. CSU has a broad scope license for dispersible
material and portable moisture and density gauges. A second license is
an irradiator license for several 1 - 6000 Ci irradiators . CSU also has
a large veterinary teaching hospital that has a linear accelerator, a
nuclear medicine department and several x-ray units. The audit would
include determining compliance with State and Federal regulations and
making recommendations on improving the present procedures used by the
Radiation Control Office.

If you are interested, please respond to me directly and include an
estimated cost of the audit. Also include an estimated time frame
(length of audit) and a brief summary of your qualifications. If you are
selected, a time will be set up that is convenient for both parties.
