References on Use of Multiple & Extremity Dosimetry

I'm posting this for a colleague (it's difficult for us to submit
questions to Radsafe because of the firewall software used to protect
our LAN --- unless you use hotmail or some other internet-based email
service, which is what I'm using.)

My colleague is looking for any references (NRC, INPO, ICRP report,
professional publication, etc.) on the use of multiple dosimetry or
extremity dosimetry for working in non-uniform radiation fields or when
leaded vests are used to protect the torso, but leaving the upper
extremities and head exposed. My colleague is particularly interested
in any NRC guidance or position papers that may have been publised.

I seem to recall that there was an NRC health physics position on this
topic, but yesterday I searched the HPPOS database and couldn't find it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
