CT room safety requirements

Dear Radiosafers

Regarding the designing of the CT room there some questions I need your opinions:
Do you recommending of using interlock switch with CT room doors or not necessarily especially if the room monitored through lead glass?
What you think of leaving the entrance from the controlled area without lid door if the radiation dose level at the entrance is within acceptable limit?
