RE: Decontamination of metal

If you know of a solution, please let everyone know. A tool of such impressive
efficiency would be a great assess to any waste management program at a nuclear
power plant. The required specs are a tall order!

Sincerely,
Glen

Subject: Decontamination of metal

Dear Radsafers:

Any good leads out there on currently available, effective, (economical?!)
portable decontamination method (paint, bead blast, grit blast, etc.) for heavy
gauge steel plate? Looking at knocking down 750K d/min/100cm^2 beta-gamma
contamination to releasable in one pass. Recyclable or low secondary waste
generation is desirable. Can't use ice blasting for this application. Respond
off line please. Thanks
