Like several others, here at the University of Nebraska we use the term
Authorized User to distinguish the term from PI.  The term is based on NRC
Reg Guide 10.5 appendix I, item 3 entitled "Nonmedical Users Authorized by
RSC".  Our training requirements for AU's are then based on those outlined
in this item.
