3rd Party Monitoring

Here's the results of my survey of real-time monitoring by 3rd parties,
particularly government agencies:

3 states (IL, NJ, AL) monitor perimeters of nuclear power plants using
PICs.  Illinois also monitors effluents.

1 state (Idaho) monitors a weapons' lab perimeter (INEL) using PICs.  Data
on Web (http://www.noaa.inel.gov) courtesy of NOAA.

DOE funds monitoring by EPA and others of LANL, Nevada Test Site and sites
in Alaska and Mississippi (44 locations in all.)  Uses PICs and also
collects met data.  Data on Web (http://newnet.jdola.lanl.gov) courtesy of
LANL.
