Request for Qualifications, Health Effects associated with Cellular
Telephone Antenna Sites

The County of Kauai (Hawaii), Department of Water has published a
request for qualifications for professional services to hire a technical
expert in the area of telecommunications to advise the Board of Water
Supply regarding applications for use of one or more of our properties
(water tank sites) for cellular telephone or PCS antennas and associated
equipment.  The selected professional is to assess current and
anticipated environmental guidelines, standards, regulations, and laws
applicable to such facilities, and evaluate compliance of the applicant
telecommunication firm's plans.

statement of qualifications is October 16, 1998, 4:00 PM HST.
