Bugs May Spread Radioactivity



There was also the pigeon observed drinking from the spent fuel pool.  When it turned up dead, soon after, it was added to a rad waste drum.  I doubt that the death was radiation induced.  The power plant was a PWR with borated water in the SFP.  Natural causes, chemical effects, who knows?
