RE: IPM7/8 response checks.



Well, trends really should not be a factor in determining what nuclide is
used for calibration or source check. It should be 
based on your plant mix. We use a nuclide which best represents our average
beta energy.Co-60 is used for calibration and 
Tc-99 for source check.
